Laser Based Navigation

On the top side of Xiaomi Roborock there is a laser sensor. This laser scans the surroundings of the vacuum/mopping robot up to 1,800 times per second. Therefore, the robot knows exactly if there are obstacles in the way. Then, it can plan the best route possible, never losing orientation.

Automatic Charging and Resumption of the Cleaning

If battery turns low during the cleaning process the robot charges itself intermediately. Afterwards, it continues vacuuming or mopping where it has stopped earlier.

Washable Filter for Low Follow-Up Costs

The integrated filter of Xiaomi Roborock can be rinsed with water. Therefore, the filter doesn’t need to be replaced regularly (like it does with another robot hoovers). A thorough cleaning of the filter is a precondition.
